Who Lives in Alberta

A diverse population of over three and a half million, Alberta is the fourth largest province in Canada.  Immigrants to Canada and international students further enrich our province with the culture and perspectives from over one hundred countries from around the world. 

Alberta's population is made up of many ethnic backgrounds.  Newcomers are encouraged to keep their traditions when they move here. Albertans are fortunate to be exposed to so many different foods, dances and cultures, as part of everyday life.
