Each school district has different tuition fees and refund policies. The information contained below is for general reference only. Contact your local school district for more specific information.
Tuition fees
In Alberta, international student tuition fees for one semester (5 months) range from $4 000 - $6 000 and for a full school year (10 months) range from $8 000 - $11 000 CAD. Tuition fees for summer programs vary according to the length and intensity of the program. Additional fees may be charged for books, transportation and extra curricular activities for both school year and summer programs.
Refund policies
Refunds on application fees are generally not permitted.
Refunds on tuition fees are generally permitted if the student:
- has not yet begun the semester and notice of cancellation is given within a reasonable timeframe;
- is denied a study permit (student visa); or
- becomes a permanent resident.
